A client-focused executive with expertise in Enterprise Risk Management (ERM), Governance, Internal Audit and Risk-based Operational Effectiveness, Liane helps organizations address key business risks, comply with regulatory requirements in risk management and communicate relevant risk information cross-functionally, to C-level executives, and to the board, promoting a risk-aware culture. Her professional experience includes: in-house Risk executive for a large fintech company, consultant and advisor to private and public sector entities, out-sourced internal auditor and out-sourced ERM leader.
Prior to a career in Risk Management, Liane was a Supply Chain Consultant, and was appointed by the Ontario Ministry of Finance as their Logistics Subject Matter Expert.
Liane is currently on faculty at Osgoode Hall, in the Professional Development Program, Certificate in Regulatory Compliance and Legal Risk Management for Financial Institutions. She is also on the board of Tafelmusik Baroque Orchestra and Chamber Choir and on the Finance and Audit Committee of Canada's National Ballet School.
